Method Seven have designed The Operator glasses to make working under H.P.S lighting safer for the grower's eyes and easier to maintain their plants.

Human eyes work the best with sunlight as their source of light. The sun provides the perfect balance of light our eyes need to see colour, movement and shapes.

H.P.S Lighting, however, provides an uneven balance of the different spectrums of light. For example, it provides a high concerntration of yellow light which is great for plants to grow and flower but does not balance this with the white and blue light that we need.

This makes it hard for us to see the plant's natural colour and identify if there are any nutrient deficiencies, pests or other problems that may affect the crop negatively.

The Operator glasses allow the grower to see their plants in their natural state and make sure their crop is healthy, leading to a better yield.

Frequent exposure to H.P.S lighting without proper glasses can also cause problems for our eyes such as cataracts, loss of vision at night and reduced eye function.
