R1.0 is the thickest insulated ducting available.
Designed for low-noise air transfer. This ducting is comprised of 3 layers. Does not completely silence the noise but will reduce the sound by up to 50%.
DUCT CORE: A UV resilient fire retardant 100um black low density polyethylene perforated material mecnanically locked into an outer metal helix with a copper coated spring steel wire.
DUCT SLEEVE: Fire retardant 75um blacklow density polyethylene and UV stabilised.
DUCT INSULATION: AS4508 Polyester R 1.0 nominal 459 grams per metre/sq 70mm thick.
